Christmas @ Ravenfield Primary Academy
Attached are our Christmas events during December. We have plenty for children and families to look forward to.
Parents Evening
Parent's Evening will take place on Wednesday 10th December from 3:30pm-8pm.

Sickness & Diarrhoea
We are aware of a few cases in school over the past week. We follow HSC Public Health Agency guidance which states children should be kept off school for 48 hours from the last episode of either. If your child does have any sickness & diarrhoea, then we ask you to follow these guidelines and contact school as normal to report their absence. If your child is sent home from school, then this guidance will also apply.
Wear Purple for Bluebell Wood
As some of you may have seen in the community, one of our MLT students Noah Playforth is running a mile a day for Bluebell Wood Hospice. Noah has had so much support from many areas of the Maltby community and at Lilly Hall, we wish to do the same and support him. Noah had a goal of £1,000 when he made this he set himself a goal of £9,000 Noah has now exceeded this amount through determination and hard work through all weathers and typifies many of our core learning characteristics by doing so.
With this in mind, we wish to celebrate Noah's final mile on 1st December by dedicating the day to wearing purple. Your child can come wearing something purple on this day only. Donation buckets will be available at the school for a minimum donation of £1 So wear it purple and support Noah on his last mile!

Thank you to everyone who donated to the PTA at the Ravenfield Light Switch On last Friday.
Sports Events
Here is the current list of all sports events for the rest of the year. All children in the appropriate year groups will have an opportunity to sign up for the various events. The selection process will be fair, and we will monitor who has been chosen for which event throughout the year. As always, dates and events are subject to change by the hosts.

We are excited to confirm that our Christmas Dinner Day will take place on 10th December 2025.

Christmas Football Camp
We are excited to announce that we will be running a Christmas Football camp in collaboration between Maltby Learning Trust and Soccer Stars Development! The camp will take place on Monday 22nd December and will run from 9:30am-2:45pm.
We will look to split the day between a mixture of FUTSAL in the sports hall and football on the astroturf (weather permitting!). The camp itself will be £20 for the day. However, a 25% discount will be available for all Maltby Learning Trust pupils!
The camp will be run by Will, who currently works on the Football Scholarship and Primary FUTSAL scholarships ran at Maltby Academy.
Spaces are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Wraparound Care
The fun Hub will be introducing some shorter 'taster' sessions for after school club. They will be on a Wednesday and Friday from 10th September. Each session will start at 3.15pm and end at 4.45pm, with a cost of £7.50. This must be booked through the Class4kids app. If you have any questions, please drop us an email - enquires@funhubactivities.co.uk or pop in to see Cat at breakfast club each morning.
