Following on from last year's success, we are delighted to announce we have achieved the School Games Gold Award for the second year running. This is a wonderful achievement after such a busy year of events.

The feedback included: 

Ravenfield Primary has achieved its second consecutive Gold School Games Mark Award, reflecting sustained commitment to high‑quality, inclusive physical activity and competition. The school has continued to strengthen its leadership offer, ensuring pupils are equipped with meaningful roles that build confidence, responsibility, and a sense of belonging.

Ravenfield remains firmly embedded within the borough‑wide inter‑school programme, engaging consistently and offering pupils a broad range of opportunities at levels appropriate to their experience and development. This ensures that children can participate, progress, and succeed in ways that feel both accessible and aspirational.

A particular highlight this year is the successful introduction of Flag Football, a new addition to the school’s provision. This innovative step not only broadened the activity offer but also led to an outstanding competitive outcome - finishing 2nd at a regional competition, a testament to both staff commitment and pupil enthusiasm.

Ravenfield continues to model strong practice and demonstrates a clear trajectory of growth, ambition, and inclusive delivery. Well done all!

A big thank you to Miss Chantler for the time and effort she has put into this year coordinating all the events and completing the application form and gathering the evidence for this. We would also like to thank our staff team for the constant support they give the children and you as parents for transporting the children when needed to the various events.
