We are delighted to announce we have achieved our first ever School Games Gold Award! Fresh off our WMIM Award at the start of the month, this is our second ever SGM since 2011 and our first ever Gold Award, which is a fantastic achievement. 

The feedback included: 

Ravenfield Primary have focused on School Games outcome 4: supporting the personal development of targeted young people through youth engagement and leadership throughout their collaboration with the SGO. This has involved developing a fluid model which roles from academic year to academic year, which started in 2022/23 and allows them to consistently have an active playground embedded in their school day.

This combined with their intra and inter-school work with their MAT PE specialist gives children and Ravenfield a broad and enriched offer.

A big thank you to Miss Chantler for the time and effort she has put into completing the application form and gathering the evidence for this. As well as our staff team for the constant support they give the children.
